PRESENTATION DAY           20th September 2008

Start                                         9.00 am sharp to 12.00

Where                                     Normal Roo Ball Fields

Jumping Castle, activities, Parents vs Kids soccer games, fast feet demonstration and challenge for all kids, dunk the coach, Sack race, egg and spoon etc and of course presentation of trophies, medals and photo's. Barbeque, sausage sizzle,drinks available.

For all parents, grand parents, players and family siblings.

FINALS FOOTBALL

After being in the four all year the prems finished equal 4th on points but missed out on goal difference to Broadbeach. Congratulations and commiserations are warranted to all players, their senior coach Brett Budwee and the full management team.

The reserves did the opposite storming home to finish fourth and now play Burleigh Heads in a two legged playoff. Congratualations to Lindsay Corbell and his team.

The under 16/17's were equal first in their premiership, unfortuantely also losing out on goal difference and now head to the finals, congratualations to Gary Thompson and his team.

The Under 14's division 1 which comprise 8 inder 13 age boys finished a very creditable 4th and heafs to finals football, congratulations to Clint Savage and his team.

The under 12 division 1 won their competition outright and comprehensively and head to the finals full of confidence, congratuations to Shaune Macpherson and his team.

The under 14 div 3, 12 division 2 and under 11 division 2 all finished fifth in their respective competions with one point or one game seperating them from finals football.

The respective coaches Tony Gentile and Grant Brewster for the 14's,  Dane for the 12.s and long time coach and Steve Moore for the under 11's are to be congratulated.

ROAR YOUTH LEAGUE TEAM ANNOUNCED

LUKE MUIR current premier league goal keeper and boy that has been with us since under 6.

TYLER THURTELL who left us two years ago after obtaining QAS scholarship have just signed contracts with the ROAR youth team and both list Magic United as their Club.

If you go on the Roar web site you will see we are the only Gold Coast Club to have players make this team, who will play in this years current youth League Competition.

Congratulations to both boys, their families and our club coaches that have helped them on their way. We hope both boys have a successfull season and prosperous football futures.

Once I know the full schedule of finals football I post on the Website and encourage all those in the club to get out and support teams in their endeavours to make the grang finals being held at cararra stadium on the 2nd weekend of September.
